Summarise the regulatory framework for the telecoms and media sector. What is the policymaking procedure? Has the EU regulatory framework (including the market reviews) been fully transposed into your national law, as far as currently required?

The Swedish Electronic Communications Act (2003:389) imple- ments the European regulatory framework for Electronic Commu- nications Networks and Services, which consists of the Framework Directive (2002/21/EC), the Authorisation Directive (2002/20/EC), the Access Directive (2002/19/EC), the Universal Service Directive (2002/22/EC) and the Directive on Privacy and Electronic Commu- nications (2002/58/EC).
