amdocs-logo-ft1Amdocs has announced Compact Convergence on the Cloud, a complete business support system designed to meet the requirements of small-to-medium-size service providers, mobile virtual network operators/enablers (MVNO/Es) and mobile network operators (MNOs).

Amdocs says its new solution combines the full-range of business support capabilities on the cloud with embedded business processes and operational support delivered by Amdocs Managed Services to reduce upfront and ongoing operational costs, while providing 24/7 support.

Amdocs is helping to level the playing field for smaller players like rural service providers, making it easier for them to realize the benefits of advanced integrated platforms to support their business requirements,” said Rebecca Prudhomme, vice president of product and solutions marketing at Amdocs.

Amdocs says Compact Convergence on the Cloud has few setup costs and is based on a pay-as-you-grow model. The solution also includes real-time network interfaces that provides a single view of the of the customer from the device to the network and across all lines of business, and enables service providers to launch new offers, promotions and service plans in a matter of days, with unlimited service bundling possibilities.

The solution was introduced at the Competitive Carriers Global Expo 2013 in New Orleans.
