I was headhunted by Truphone to come on board to completely revamp their existing mobile applications and creative direction. I was responsible for building and planning the applications, covering bases from user experience to design and also overseeing development. During my time at Truphone I was also required to build an in house design team which would work across platforms such as mobile, desktop and web.
Upon joining the team I held numerous design sessions to help explain and showcase new direction I was looking to take, which was greatly received by the majority of the organisation. As time went by I hired a number of talented designers to help provide resource to the development teams which meant that we were able to ship the first major release of the products two months ahead of schedule.
My main design focus was on the Android and iOS versions of the application as these were the two platforms that already had a large user base. During the third quater of the year as a team we collectively started to provide support for the new Blackberry OS.
