Dutch MVNO Lycamobile migrates to KPN network

Lycamobile-featLycaMobile‘s dutch MVNO division has ended its  agreement with Vodafone Netherlands and has migrated its customers to the KPN network.

A spokesperson for Vodafone Wholsale confirmed that LycaMobile had been an active MVNO on its network since 2009, and that the migration to KPN was a mutual agreement on good terms.

LycaMobile is one of the few full MVNO in the Dutch Market and this allows the MVNO to switch between radio network providers.

Online portal, and research company Telecompaper estimates the company has around 700,000 customers in The Netherlands, including its subsidiary brands Toggle Mobile and GT Mobile.

This is the second time that  LycaMobile has switched operators in the Dutch Market.

Originally LycaMobile went live in The Netherlands using T-Mobile, and it switched to Vodafone in 2009 amongst a commercial disagreement with T-Mobile demanded almost € 40 million in outstanding payments from the company, and the case ended up in court.
