Russian MVNO Aiva Mobile, controlled by the operator MTT, and Armenian mobile operator Ucom, have launched a joint mobile offer. Using the dual-SIM technology from MTT, Ucom subscribers have the opportunity to use two telephone numbers on one Sim: a Ucom number in Armenia and an Aiva Mobile in Russia.
In Armenia, the subscribers will be able to use the Armenian number with the ‘Universal Plus’ postpaid tariff and spend the minutes included in the tariffs to call also Russian networks. When in Russia they will use a Russian number with the ‘My Armenia’ tariff and will be able to call all Armenian networks at a low rate.
Some 70 percent of international calls performed by Ucom mobile customers are to Russia.
