Goood, MVNO, Austria, Germany
MVNO Goood will launch on 01 February in Germany and Austria, with the promise of donating 10 percent of all tariff prices to charity.
Goood operates in the O2/Telefonica network with technical processing offered by Drillisch Online. Customers can choose from 150 projects in six categories to support with their monthly donation, taken out of their mobile tariff.
The cheapest tariff Goood Smile costs EUR 9.99 per month and includes 100 talk minutes, 100 SMS and 500 MB of data on a 12 month minimum contract. From this tariff, EUR 1 is donated to a charity of choice. The Goood Big Smile is the same price but offers 1 GB of data and requires a 24 month minimum.
The Goood Easy, which costs EUR 19.99 per month, offers unlimited SMS and telephony as well as 1 GB of data on a twelve-month minimum contract. EUR 2 is donated each month to charity. The Goood Big Easy offers 2 GB of data at the same price on a 24 month contract.
Orders can only be made online, with the SIM card sent by mail.
Goood has also committed to investing 25.1 percent of its profits to social enterprises. Goood founder Claudia Winkler estimated that the organisation could raise EUR 25 million for social and ecological projects over the next five years.
